Romelu Lukaku set to talk to agent as Inter Milan step up transfer effort

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has expressed his intention to talk to his agent over the desire of Inter Milan to acquire his services this summer.

The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to the Serie A club since his agent open stated the striker’s desire to play in Italy shortly before the end of last season.

“I’m going to enjoy time with the family and relax. Then make the best decision for my career. Do I know anything yet? Yeah, I do…,” the striker told Belgian television station VTM.

He also spoke to reporters in the mixed zone and reiterated the choice has been made.

“I have a contract with Manchester United, so I’ll talk to my agent, Federico Pastorello, to make the best decision. I expect a busy summer.”

Lukaku was asked if he liked Inter and replied with a big grin.

Manchester United handed transfer boost as prime target DECLARES his intention to move to Old Trafford

There are reports that Manchester United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka has told Crystal Palace he wants to make a dream move to Old Trafford.

Palace want to keep Wan-Bissaka, but are determined to hold out for the best possible price if they are to lose him.

That could mean United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer paying £60million for the right-back.

But England under-21 ace Wan-Bissaka, does not want to be caught in the middle as a summer transfer tussle plays out between the two clubs, report the daily Mirror.

Both Palace and United are also eyeing Norwich full-back Max Aarons – the Eagles would look to sign him if Wan-Bissaka leaves, while United are considering him as an alternative to their top right-back target .

Wan-Bissaka needs the Old Trafford switch to happen fast – so he doesn’t miss out to Canaries ace Aarons.

Palace haven’t received a transfer request from Wan-Bissaka, but the player has told them he wants to join United , according to The Sun .

Chelsea hold meeting with club legend Frank Lampard to replace Maurizio Sarri, but…

Reports in England claim Chelsea have opened talks with Derby County boss Frank Lampard about an emotional return to Stamford Bridge as manager.

According to the Daily Mail, Blues officials have sat down with the club legend to discuss the possibility of him replacing Maurizio Sarri, who is on the brink of leaving the club.

The Italian is set to complete his move to Juventus this week, bringing an end to his time in the Premier League after just one season.

Chelsea are understood to have doubts about Lampard’s managerial experience – he has just a year under his belt at Pride Park – but he is held in high regard by owner Roman Abramovich after a stellar playing career with the club.

The former England midfielder – who was seen out for lunch with former team-mate Didier Drogba on Tuesday afternoon – is odds on with the bookmakers to replace Sarri, who has been picked to replace Massimiliano Allegri by the Turin giants.

Chelsea are set to earn £5million in compensation for their manager, who won the Europa League, reached the Carabao Cup final and finished third last season.

Allegri and Ajax boss Erik ten Hag, who caught the eye during the Dutch club’s impressive run to the Champions League semi-finals, have also been considered as replacements for Sarri.
