Romelu Lukaku hints at when Inter Milan move will be decided

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed when his potential move to Inter Milan will be decided.

Antonio Conte is keen to add Lukaku to the Inter attack as Mauro Icardi is on the verge of leaving the Serie A giants.

Inter are reportedly trying to purchase Lukaku for €70m, spread out over two or three years with bonuses included, whereas Manchester United want over €80m and in one payment.

The Belgium international told reporters they “will know something next week.”

The striker was left out of the squad for today’s friendly win against Perth Glory, not even on the bench.

He spoke to reporters in the Optus Stadium and was asked by reporters about his situation.

“You guys will know something next week,” was his response.

Inter Milan fans battle Antonio Conte over his decision on Serie A star

Reports in Italy claim Inter Milan fans are poised for showdown with club boss Antonio Conte over his insistence that the Serie A giants should sell Radja Nainggolan.

Inter general manager Beppe Marotta confirmed last weekend that Nainggolan was not in Conte’s plans.

The fans called on the club to retain the midfielder despite Conte’s wish to sell the midfielder.

However, Calciomercato.com reports supporters made their way to the Nerazzurri’s training camp in Lugano to convince the club into keeping the Belgian.

“Ninja, stay at Milan!” they were heard chanting as cited by Football Italia.

The Beneamata splashed out €40m to sign the 31-year-old from Roma last summer, with Nicolo Zaniolo and Davide Santon sacrificed.

He struggled for form and fitness in 2018-19 but still managed seven goals and three assists.

Nainggolan’s wife Claudia Lai also revealed just yesterday that she was battling cancer.
