(Watch Video Highlights) Tottenham in killer mood, crush Burnley 5-0 (Match Report)

Son Heung-min scored a brilliant solo goal as Tottenham Hotspur beat Burnley 5-0 to move up to sixth in the table.

The South Korean international produced a moment of genius just after the half-hour mark, travelling virtually the entire length of the field and leaving Burnley players trailing in his wake to add a third goal to Spurs tally after Harry Kane and Lucas Moura had given the home team a 2-0 lead.

There was no let-up after the break, Kane adding his second and his club’s fourth early in the second half while Moussa Sissoko scored in successive home games to make it 5-0, having netted in last week’s win over Bournemouth.

Harry Kane opened the scoring after four minutes with a swerving shot from 25 yards before Lucas Moura doubled Spurs’ advantage five minutes later with a tap-in at the far post.

Son made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute, picking up the ball inside his own half, beating three Burnley defenders before slotting past Nick Pope.

It was 4-0 nine minutes after the break, Kane firing in before he then set up Moussa Sissoko to add a fifth with 16 minutes remaining.

Spurs have 23 points, six behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

A third successive defeat drops Burnley to 13th with 18 points.

(Watch the video highlights) How Manchester United beat Manchester City at the Etihad

Manchester United claimed a 2-1 derby victory that hit Manchester City’s hopes of closing the gap on leaders Liverpool.

Following an open start at Etihad Stadium Marcus Rashford put United ahead on 23 minutes. He converted from the penalty spot after the VAR alerted referee Anthony Taylor to a foul by Bernardo Silva on the United forward.

Six minutes later it was 2-0 as Anthony Martial’s shot beat Ederson on his near post.

Both sides continued to have opportunities in an enthralling encounter, but it was not until the 85th minute that City scored, Nicolas Otamendi heading in Riyad Mahrez’s corner.

City chased an equaliser but United hung on to put the champions 14 points behind Liverpool’s 46 in third.

United rise to fifth on 24 points.
