Reports in Italy claim Carlo Ancelotti has reached an agreement with Napoli to terminate his contract, paving the way for a move to Everton.

According to Sky Sports UK, Ancelotti is now free to take over at Everton after his legal team thrashed out a deal with Napoli.

The 60-year-old was sacked earlier this month, but his contract at the San Paolo was still due to run until June 2021, report Football Italia.

Carletto has already worked in England, guiding Chelsea to their first-ever double in 2009-10.

However, he will have his work cut out on the blue half of Merseyside, with the Toffees 16th in the Premier League and only three points afloat.
