Eden Hazard aims dig at Antonio Conte, Maurizio Sarri

Eden Hazard has admitted he had “less pleasure” playing under Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea during his final three seasons at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian ace, who now stars for Real Madrid, was speaking to Spanish publication AS after his summer transfer to Spain.

He said: “Our training (at Real Madrid) is always with the ball, working on movement and patterns.

“When you meet Italian coaches, like me (Conte, Sarri), you have much less pleasure.

“It is more framed and repetitive. You find pleasure in victory. I spent three years with Italian managers so rediscovering this pleasure does me good.”

Chelsea fans want former Blues star back at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea fans are begging for Oscar to come back as former playmaker posts throwback pictures with Lampard, Hazard and Willian.

The attacking midfielder took to Twitter to share a number of heart-warming snaps of his time at Chelsea, accompanied by the caption: “Do you remember these moments?

“@hazardeden10 @willianborges88 @filipeluis @diegocosta @ChelseaFC”

Helping Chelsea win the Premier League, League Cup and Europa League, as well as scooping two Chelsea Goal of the Season awards after stunning strikes against Juventus in 2012 — on his full debut — and QPR in 2014, fans were quick to respond to his tweet, report The Sun.

Comments were centred around asking the 28-year-old to return to Stamford Bridge.

One fan replied: “Once a blue, always a blue. Come back brother.”

Whilst another added: “We need you, come home.”

The Brazilian left Chelsea to join Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG for £60million after four-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar was openly criticised for his decision to leave the prestigious Premier League to play in the Far East back in 2017 but fans have made it clear they are happy to welcome him back.

More responses to his Chelsea throwback snaps included comforting messages like: “Your always welcome back.”

“Come back Oscar you’re too good to be over there at your age, come home instead.”

At the time of his departure from the Blues, the Brazilian playmaker did insist he left Chelsea ‘with the doors open’, meaning there could be scope for a future return.

Timo Werner reveals decision amid Chelsea transfer interest

Chelsea target Timo Werner has ruled out a January transfer from RB Leipzig but insists he is open to moving to the Premier League in the future.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has made Timo Werner a top transfer target but face competition from Manchester United and Liverpool.

The German international is refusing to be drawn into transfer speculation as he bids to fire his side to the Bundesliga title in the second half of the season.

According to the Express, Lampard has made Werner a top target, but is aware that a deal is near on impossible in January.

After having their transfer ban lifted, Chelsea are looking to make up for lost time in the market.

Lampard has identified his attack as an area that requires attention and he wants another striker to provide competition for Tammy Abraham.

And now Werner has insisted that he is open to a Premier League move in the future, despite being fully committed to Leipzig at the moment.

The forward scored 18 league goals in the first half of the campaign and is hoping to hit the ground running again as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund look to make up ground.

David Moyes eyes reunion with Chelsea star at West Ham

Reports in England claim West Ham manager David Moyes is plotting an ambitious move to snare Ross Barkley to the London Stadium on loan.

Moyes brought the Liverpudlian through the ranks when the pair were together at Everton, with Barkley featuring seven times during his last season before he headed off to his doomed appointment at Manchester United.

Now the new Hammers boss is targeting a reunion with the midfielder after starting just six games for Chelsea under Frank Lampard, according to the Mirror.

He started the the FA Cup game against Nottingham Forest last week, scoring in his first appearance since October, and played the full 90 again in the 3-0 win over Burnley, but will be anxious to see if he continues to be picked by the Blues legend.

He suffered a foot injury that kept him out for some time, and the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante have been picked ahead of him in the centre of midfield.

The emergence of youngster Mason Mount hasn’t helped Barkley’s cause either, and the former Everton star will be disappointed with how his progress has stagnated after a resurgence last season – when he played 48 games under Maurizio Sarri, report Sportsmail.

He scored five times during that campaign and lifted the Europa League, but now things are looking bleak for Barkley – who faces the prospect of missing out on Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad this summer if he can’t maintain his place.

Footballer arrested on pitch for assault, contract terminated by club

A player was arrested for kicking and punching an assistant referee after being sent off in a second division match in Malta.

It was during a match between Sannat Lions and the Oratory Youths that Antoine Camilleri failed to control his anger.

According to The Sun, referee Massimo Axisa handed Camilleri a second yellow card following a rash challenge, but the red card didn’t go down well with the player.

Camilleri punched and kicked the assistant who was just 18-years-old before being escorted from the stadium by police.

Following the incident, Sannat Lions have terminated the contract of the player with immediate effect and fine him €400.

Camilleri, who faced court on Sunday, pleaded guilty to charges of threatening and injuring a person, and using offensive language.

He was hit with a one-year ban from playing football, along with a fine of €100.
