Willian responds to reunion with Maurizio Sarri as Juventus keep close eye on Chelsea star

Chelsea star Willian expressed his desire to stay in the Premier League but admitted that working under Maurizio Sarri was good for him.

Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on Willian’s situation between now and the end of the season as Maurizio Sarri ‘eyes a reunion’ with the Brazilian.

Tuttosport report that given the player is out of contract at Chelsea this summer, the Italian champions are ‘monitoring’ him, assessing whether they can make a financially sound deal.

Willian is currently with his family in Brazil during the lockdown for the coronavirus pandemic but with no movement on fresh terms at Chelsea as of yet, his future has got teams across Europe on notice.

And Willian told ESPN Brasil: “My desire is to stay in the Premier League, but I don’t rule out playing in other leagues.

“I’m going to play until the end of the season and see what happens.

“Sarri is a good coach. He had interesting tactics, liked a beautiful game, and playing with the ball.

“Even so, he won a title, the Europa League , and we came third place in the Premier League.

“I can’t tell you why it wasn’t better. He was a very calm guy on a daily basis.”
