Chelsea are reportedly in the final stages of negotiations over a deal for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.

The Blues have been heavily-linked with a move for the attacking midfielder this summer.

And now it seems the Stamford Bridge outfit are close to sealing a move for German star Havertz.

Respected journalist Kevin Palmer tweeted: “Chelsea are in the ‘final stages’ of negotiations over a deal for Kai Havertz.

Discussions are focusing on the structure of performance related payments.

“It seems like this is a deal edging towards a conclusion.”
