Frank Lampard breaks silence over “unhappy” Mason Mount claim as Kai hits the spotlight

Frank Lampard has dismissed claims Mason Mount was unsettled by Kai Havertz’s big-money Chelsea arrival as “absolutely fabricated”.

Germany forward Havertz has joined Chelsea in a £70million deal as the Blues have shelled out more than £200m on summer recruits.

Reports in Germany claimed Mount had been threatened by Havertz’s move from Bayer Leverkusen, though the England star’s dad rubbished the suggestions on Twitter.

And now Chelsea manager Lampard has rejected those assertions, insisting his homegrown stars have relished the summer’s high-profile arrivals.

“I saw the story about Mason Mount, I know it was absolutely fabricated from somebody, particularly if it came from the German end,” said Lampard.

“I don’t know if he’s got any friends or relatives over there he would talk to, it’s a strange angle for that to come from Mason.”

Willian provides three assists on Arsenal debut as Gunners spank Fulham (Match Report)

Former Chelsea forward Willian provided three assists on his Arsenal debut as the Gunners eased past Premier League returnees Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage.

Fulham had the first sniff of a chance inside two minutes when a loose back-pass was anticipated by Aboubakar Kamara, but Gunners goalkeeper Bernd Leno reacted well to smother the ball when Kamara looked to dink it beyond him.

A swift move down the right-hand side of the pitch five minutes later ended with Denis Odoi trying his luck from 20 yards, and Leno needed two bites of the cherry to get the ball in his grasp.

The bright start made Arsenal’s opener all the more frustrating. Granit Xhaka’s shot was deflected by Tim Ream to Willian who poked goalwards.

Marek Rodák made a superb stop but could only parry to Alexandre Lacazette who was left with the easiest of finishes.

Lacazette opened the scoring on eight minutes, tapping in after Marek Rodak had pushed Willian’s shot to him. In so doing, the forward became the first player to score the opening goal of a Premier League season more than once.

The striker’s goal was the difference between the sides in what was an evenly contested opening 45 minutes.

But the Gunners took control of proceedings in the second half, doubling their lead when debutant Gabriel headed in soon after the restart.

Three minutes after the break, Willian, who also struck a post with a first-half free-kick, sent over a corner that was headed in by another debutant, Gabriel.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang collected Willian’s long pass and curled home a lovely third to ensure the points would be heading to North London on this occasion.

It gave Arsenal their biggest away league win since beating Fulham 5-1 in October 2018.

Antonio Conte returns to Chelsea for another star after N’Golo Kante disappointment

Reports in Italy suggest that Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte is targeting Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso.

Conte has, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, returned to the Blues defender, having tried to sign the Spanish full-back in January.

Alonso left Fiorentina and Serie A in August 2016 and joined Conte’s former club, where he has impressed during his time in London.

The report claims the two could be reunited in Milan, as Conte is looking to offload Henrique Dalbert to make room for the 29-year-old.

Dalbert spent last season on loan at Fiorentina but has returned to San Siro since the two clubs didn’t reach an agreement ahead of 2020-21.

Italy international Cristiano Biraghi therefore went in the opposite direction as well.

Kepa sends Chelsea fans wild with what they notice during Chelsea training at Cobham

Chelsea fans could not believe their eyes after a picture appeared to show Kepa Arrizabalaga’s ginormous genitals.

Some supporters even joked the 25-year-old is unable to dive as “he’s being weighed down”.

According to The Sun, Kepa is in training with the Chelsea squad ahead of Monday’s match against Brighton.

A snap from Chelsea’s Cobham HQ showed the 25-year-old in action after making a save.

But some fans found themselves instantly drawn to the huge bulge outline in his shorts.

Whether it was a shadow or not, fans could not help but comment on the flop keeper’s flop.

One fan said: “When you realise he doesn’t dive because he’s being weighed down…”

Another added: “Maybe he should use that to save the ball rather than trying with his hands.”

And one replied: “He’s got a snake in his shorts?”

Kepa might have to use his massive manhood as an excuse for his poor start to life in London.

Frank Lampard reveals why he won’t allow N’Golo Kante to join Antonio Conte at Inter Milan

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed the real reason he is holding on to N’Golo Kante despite the desire of other clubs to sign him.

The west London club rebuffed Inter Milan’s offer to prise the Frenchman away from Chelsea this week.

The Nerazzurri manager Antonio Conte is reportedly desperate to bring the the midfilder to his club to shore up his midfield because of the player’s familiarity with his style of play.

Lampard is, however, in no mood to entertain any transfer talk for the midfielder.

“I think every club in the world wants a player like Kanté, he’s an incredible player,” Lampard told BBC 5 Sport Live podcast.

“I certainly don’t want to lose him, as he is very important for the type of style I want to play. In the last season, he did not have the continuity that he did in the last 4-5 years due to some injuries.

“Now, however, he is really fine. So I’m happy to have him with me and I definitely want to keep him.”

Jose Mourinho agrees with Jurgen Klopp, aims dig at Chelsea

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has agreed with Jurgen Klopp over the Blues lavish spending this summer.

The Reds boss has repeatedly claimed that the outbreak of coronavirous pandemic has emasculated the financial capacity of his club to match Chelsea in the transfer market.

Liverpool were, before the pandemic, reportedly spoiling to sign Chelsea’s new boy Timo Werner from Bayer Leverkusen, but could not go any further thereby allowing the Blues to pounce for the striker and Kai Havertz.

The Frank Lampard side also signed Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr, Hakim Ziyech. They are still reportedly angling to sign Edouardo Mandy and Declan Rice.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has joined Klopp in the dig at Chelsea for their boisterous activities in the transfer market this summer.

His words: “The other day Jurgen said Liverpool is not a club of oligarchs and belongs to countries and we are the same, we cannot go to the market and spend a fortune on players!”
