They’ve committed a few bodies forward and lo and behold they are two goals to the good. Tammy Abraham finds himself unmarked in the area and steers Timo Werner’s cross-cum shot past Fabianski.

Werner gets the ball on the left-hand corner of the area, cuts onto his right foot and tries a shot, which he completely miskicks straight into the path of Abraham, who sidefoots past Fabianski from eight yards!

A two becomes three in no time at all, at exactly 1 minute 41 seconds between the two, and it’s that man Tammy Abraham who is on hand to tap the ball in.

A fantastic run from Pulisic allows Mount the chance to put the ball in the area. Fabianski gets something on it but the ball falls to Abraham who rolls the ball in for his second.

(Watch Goal on Video): Thiago Siva scores! 10’…Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Chelsea are 1-0 up at Stamford Bridge thanks to Thiago Silva’s thumping header after ten minutes.

Silva stands on the edge of the area as a corner is about to be taken. Then he runs into the area, nobody tracks him, and heads it in from six yards!

It’s not all good for the Blues though as left-back Ben Chilwell hobbled off just before the goal to be replaced by Emerson.

Juventus boss reacts to Paulo Dybala links with Chelsea, Manchester United

Andrea Pirlo has claimed Juventus forward Paulo Dybala remains key to his plans, despite links with Chelsea and Manchester United.

The forward is in the midst of a frustrating period at the Italian champions with talks supposedly breaking down over a new deal.

It had led to rumours of a switch to Manchester United as they look to resolve the Paul Pogba saga.

Earlier in the month, Dybala had reportedly been offered to Chelsea as speculation continued over his future at the Serie A club.

The Argentinian has just 18 months left on his current deal with the club, and has reportedly been left unconvinced with their poor start to the campaign so far.

However, Pirlo has claimed he is ‘fundamental’ to his plans.

“Absolutely,” he responded when asked if the 27-year-old remained an important part of his plans.

“Champions like him are always fundamental in strong teams.”

Antonio Rudiger insists he’s “not satisfied” with his role at Chelsea

Blues defender Antonio Rudiger has confessed he’s ‘not satisfied’ with his current role at Chelsea as he looks ahead at a January exit.

The German defender, 27, has fallen behind Thiago Silva, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen in Frank Lampard’s pecking order this season.

Rudiger has played just ONCE in the Premier League this season, while featuring in four Champions League games.

The centre-back – who has seen his time at Stamford Bridge plagued by injuries – has been linked with a January move having failed to secure a switch in the summer.

Rudiger told German outlet ZDF: “I can’t be satisfied with my situation, but the fight has been accepted.

“What will happen in January is a long way off.

“I’m completely relaxed.”
