(Watch the Goal on Video) Kelechi Iheanacho’s last-minute winner sends Leicester into quarter-finals of Emirates FA Cup

Kelechi Iheanacho grabbed the headlines with his added-time goal as Leicester left it very late to seal their spot in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria striker’s solitary goal was all Leicester City needed to edge out their Premier League counterparts Brighton & Hove Albion out of this year’s Emirates FA Cup .

In the last minute of stoppage time, Tielemans swung over a cross from a quickly-taken corner and Iheanacho headed in from close range.

With both sides making seven changes for the tie, the first half was a slow burner and neither team were able to register a single shot on target.

The second half improved slightly with Andi Zeqiri and Cengiz Under both having efforts ruled out for offside.

The quarter-final draw takes place on Thursday, with matches being played across the weekend of 20-21 March.

Chelsea pull out of race to sign Bayern Munich star

Chelsea have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign David Alaba on a free transfer.

The Austrian defender, 28, is out of contract at Bayern Munich in the summer and looks set to leave for nothing.

But according to ESPN, his £400,000-a-week wage demands are simply too much for the Blues to pursue a deal any further.

Real Madrid look set to secure his services from the summer with a four-year contract understood to be agreed.

Thomas Tuchel reveals why he “was desperate to” sign N’Golo Kante for PSG

Chelsea boss has revealed the rationale behind his desperation to sign N’Golo Kante for his former club Paris Saint-Germain.

The German joined the west London club last month after the Blues legend, Frank Lampard, was sacked.

Lampard rejected offers from Serie A clubs and PSG for Kante, stating that the Frenchman was part of his plan for Chelsea.

The defensive midfielder is still linked with a move away from west London but Tuchel said: “This is very easy because I think N’Golo fits into every manager’s plans on the planet.

“I was desperate to have him in my teams. He is a Chelsea player, a big Chelsea player and one of the best midfielders in the world. Now I am so lucky to have him in my squad. I am so lucky that he is back again.”

Tuchel has, however, confirmed Kante has fully recovered from recent hamstring complaints and will start Chelsea’s FA Cup fifth-round tie at Barnsley on Thursday night.

Man City star reveals how Manchester derby divides his household, says his father and mother pitch tent against each other

Man City ace Phil Foden has revealed the Manchester derby causes a huge divide in his household… because his father is a United fan.

Speaking to Four Four Two, he said: “Obviously going to train with City made me a fan straight away.

“I told my dad that I wanted to be a City fan and he replied, ‘OK’, but I could see in his face that he was a bit disappointed.

“I think he saw it coming, though, once I was training with them.

“When derby days came around, it was me and my mum supporting City, then my dad and my brother supporting United – arguing and debating about who was going to win.

“But since I’ve been in City’s first team and it’s been me against United, I think I’m turning him slowly into a City fan – he’s not as interested in United as he used to be!”
