Half-Time Report: Chelsea 0-0 Leicester… Timo Werner unlucky as VAR chalks off two goals, Kante forced off

Chelsea and Leicester are goalless after an eventful first half.

The Blues had two goals disallowed, and both of them were scored by Timo Werner.

Werner was done for offside by the linesman when N’Golo Kante set him up inside the box and the star striker beat Kasper Schmeichel.

The Germany international was then found to have handled the ball by VAR when he picked up a corner delivery from the left side and sent it over Schmeichel’s line.

The west Londoners got unlucky as Kante, who was a constant threat for his former team, picked up an injury and was replaced by the returning Mateo Kovacic.

Neymar’s mansion broken into in Paris by man ‘clutching Bibles’

Neymar’s mansion was broken into BEFORE the Paris Saint-Germain star played and scored in a 4-0 thrashing of Reims.

That victory meant the Ligue 1 title will be settled on the final game – but it wouldn’t be surprising for Neymar’s focus to be temporarily elsewhere.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, a man managed to scale a perimeter wall and came ‘within metres’ of the front door.

There are various reports that he was ‘clutching bibles’ and ‘spreading the word of God’.

Real Madrid prepare two-year contract for Allegri ahead of Zidane summer exit

Real Madrid have reportedly prepared a two-year contract for Max Allegri, while Juventus have Zinedine Zidane at the top of their wish list.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Zidane has caught the attention of Juventus patron Andrea Agnelli, as the French coach seems destined to leave Los Blancos this summer.

The newspaper, however, reveals there are some obstacles to overcome, as the World Cup winner has a contract worth €12m a season.

And the report highlights Zidane could be waiting for the France job or, if anything, take another break from football after his second stint in the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, are reportedly prepared to move for former Juventus coach Allegri.

The newspaper claims Los Merengues have prepared a two-year deal with an option of a third at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea target sensational Brazilian amid Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund interest

There are reports that Chelsea have shown interest in Palmeiras midfielder, Patrick de Paula, for a possible transfer.

According to Sport Witness, via astamfordbridgetoofar.com, the Blues have Premier League rivals Manchester City and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund to contend with.

The Blues are, however, not the only club after the 21-year-old sensation. The report adds that Premier League rivals Manchester City and Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are also interested in De Paula.

The midfielder has impressed in the last two seasons at the Sao Paulo-based club. He has made 59 career appearances for them and scored 6 times since his senior team debut.

De Paula was also in the team that won the 2020 Copa Libertadores and is one of the most exciting young midfielders in Brazil. He can play a variety of positions in the midfield as well.

Chelsea could do with some reinforcements in their midfield. N’Golo Kante and Matteo Kovacic are holding the fort as of now in a two-man midfield but Tuchel could use some fresh faces in the middle of the park.

A £25million bid is believed to be enough to land him in the summer, and Chelsea should take the risk with the youngster. After all, they don’t have a bad experience with Brazilian exports in their team.

Two Chelsea stars want to quit Stamford Bridge this summer

Chelsea left-backs Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmeiri want to quit the Blues for Serie A this summer, according to reports.

The pair have struggled for consistent game time this season with Ben Chilwell usually preferred in the position and a return to Italy is said to be on the cards.

In a bid to raise funds for another big summer in the transfer market, the Blues are reportedly willing to let them leave.

And with both having played in Italy before, a return to Serie A is a serious possibility, according to Gazzetta.

Thomas Tuchel replies Tammy Abraham’s girlfriend

Thomas Tuchel insists Tammy Abraham’s FA Cup final axe was nothing ‘personal’ after the star’s girlfriend slammed the Chelsea boss.

The striker was not even named on the bench as the Blues lost the showpiece 1-0 to Leicester at Wembley on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s game against Leicester on Tuesday, Tuchel said: “It’s just about the amount of people that I can nominate for a game.

“I decided to start Timo Werner in the number nine role and we had Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud on the bench.

“So we decided not to have three number nines on the bench. This is it, it’s never personal.

“This is the worst day and worst decision for me in the whole week. Because since I arrived here everybody deserves to be in the squad.”

Chelsea plan to raid Serie A for exciting midfield magician

Chelsea are planning a summer raid for Atalanta midfield magician Ruslan Malinovskyi, according to reports.

The £20million-rated Ukraine international playmaker has had an outstanding season, scoring nine goals and make 12 assists in 41 games.

Malinovskyi is also understood to be a target for newly-crowned Serie A champions Inter Milan as well as Paris Saint-Germain.

However Chelsea’s Russian ownership would offer the 33-cap Ukraine ace extra temptation to move to Stamford Bridge.

But reports in Ukraine and Belgium now claim Chelsea will test Atalanta’s resolve to keep him with a substantial post-season bid.
