Wales have confirmed their 26-man squad for Euro 2020, including Chelsea youngster Etham Ampadu and Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, and will face Italy on June 20.

They are in Group A along with Italy, Turkey and Switzerland.

Ampadu was sent on loan to Sheffield United, who were been relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.

Ramsey had numerous injury problems throughout his time at Juve, but is in the squad for this summer’s tournament.

Hal Robson-Kanu scored the winner against Belgium in the 2016 quarter-final, but he is not in the squad this time around.

Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo are also dropped, as all three broke curfew at the team hotel in March.

Manchester City want to sign Man United target Sergio Ramos, according to reports.

And Pep Guardiola’s side are willing to offer the Spaniard a two-year deal.

The defender’s contract is set to expire on June 30, and he is set to meet with Madrid chiefs once again in the next few days to try and trash out an agreement.

But City could steal a march on the LaLiga giants, according to ESPN.

They claim that City could offer Ramos a two-year deal with an option for a third that, depending on performances, could mean a move to New York City FC.

Barcelona have completed the signing of Sergio Aguero undergoing the Catalan club’s medical this morning.

Fans spotted that Barca’s official website has included a link to the Argentinean forward’s presentation, which is due to take place at 6.15pm tonight Central European Time.

Aguero had been spotted in Barcelona over the weekend, and was due to complete his medical on Monday.

And it appears there have been no problems, and it is thought the 32-year-old has now put pen to paper on a two-year contract.

Official statement on FC Barcelona website said: FC Barcelona and Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero have reached an agreement for the player to join the Club from 1 July when his contract with Manchester City expires.

The player will sign a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season and his buy out clause is set at 100 million euros.

‘Kun’ Agüero’s presentation will take place on Monday with the following agenda (all times CEST):

6.00pm: Signing of the contract in the President Suñol suite in a private event.
6.25pm: Photo session on the field at Camp Nou.
7.00pm: Presentation and press conference at the Auditori 1899.

Sergio Aguero has reportedly passed Barcelona medical ahead of a move to the La Liga giants.

The Manchester City legend flew directly to the Catalan capital from Porto yesterday, following the Blues’ Champions League final defeat by Chelsea.

Aguero was in tears on the pitch after going on as a substitute in his final game for the club, ten years and 260 goals after signing.

But, as long as his medical goes well, he should sign for Barcelona and play next season alongside his close friend Lionel Messi.

The medical at the Hospital De Barcelona is not straightforward, and Barca are said to be taking extra caution given the Argentina ace’s history of injury troubles, especially the left knee problem which required surgery last year and has kept him out for much of the recent campaign.

As long as nothing shows up on the scans, Aguero is expected to sign a one-year deal with an option of a second year.

Manchester United have ‘mostly agreed’ personal terms with Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

And the player’s representatives are ‘expecting’ a £77million transfer to get over the line this summer.

United tried to sign Sancho last year but were put off by Borussia Dortmund’s £108m asking price.

Now Sport1 in Germany reckon the Bundesliga side have dropped their demands and an accepted bid will open the door for negotiations to be completed.

But after the discussions that took place in 2020, it should not take too long to seal an agreement between United and Sancho.

The report does add, though, that a formal transfer bid is yet to be lodged by the Old Trafford club.

It is thought United are prioritising winger Sancho over strikers Erling Haaland or Harry Kane this year.

Cesc Fabregas has led the praise for Mason Mount’s superb assist to set up Kai Havertz’ opening goal for Chelsea against Manchester City in the Champions League final.

Mount’s wonderfully timed, defence-splitting ball found German forward Havertz, who rounded goalkeeper Ederson and slotted into an empty net to give Thomas Tuchel’s side the lead against City in the European showpiece in Porto on Saturday.

And fellow pundit Rio Ferdinand heaped praise on midfielder Mount’s pass to create the goal on BT Sport at half-time.

He said: “The way that Mason Mount turns on this ball, faces the game and just sees it.

“It’s a good run from Havertz, the ball from Mason Mount is absolutely on the money, but it’s lazy defending from Zinchenko.”

And former Blues playmaker Fabregas added his thoughts on social media about the classy assist.

He tweeted: “What a ball!! Mason Mount that’s what I’m talking about!”

Belgium boss Roberto Martinez was left raging at ‘reckless’ Antonio Rudiger after his challenge in the Champions League final which has left Kevin De Bruyne a doubt for Euro 2020.

The German defender blocked off the Manchester City playmaker’s run during the second half of Chelsea’s European triumph in Porto on Saturday night.

Martinez, who is now less than two weeks out from Belgium’s first group game against Russia, believes Rudiger should have been punished harsher than the yellow card he received.

“For me, Rudiger is very, very fortunate,” he said. “When you look at the replay, there’s no clash of heads.

“He’s properly leaving the shoulder against Kevin. He seems concussed and we will see the state of that.

“But that leaves a sour taste, because Rudiger’s holding his head, it’s almost that he wants to show that he’s hiding something.

“For me, it was excessive force and it was reckless. And it should have been a red card.

“Kevin is not a player that goes down for no reason. You can see the pain and it’s a swollen eye.”

Sergio Aguero’S younger brother launched an astonishing attack on Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

Mauricio del Castillo claimed the Catalan ‘had never wanted’ his veteran striker after Aguero played his last game for the Citizens.

He made his comment in a tweet he later deleted, writing: “Guardiola never wanted my brother since his arrival at City.”

Asked why he had erased the message by social media followers, Mauricio said: “Many toxic people, too many.”

Warned the message had been seen by another Twitter user, he responded: “Perfect, I’m glad people have seen it.

“And I’ll write it again if I want.”

Aguero joined City in 2011 from Atletico Madrid and has helped fire the club to five Premier League titles, including three in Guardiola’s five years in charge.

He announced earlier this year this season would be his last at the Etihad and Guardiola was very emotional as he said goodbye to the striker after the Premier League season.

But Aguero could not bow out in the perfect way with City losing to Chelsea in the Champions League final.

The forward came on as a late substitute in Porto but was left in tears at full-time as Kai Havertz’s goal proved the difference.

Robert Lewandowski has fuelled speculation that he could leave Bayern Munich this summer by admitting he is ‘open-minded’ about his future.

The prolific Poland striker has been linked with Barcelona and Chelsea amid talk of frustration with the club’s transfer policy.

When asked about his future, Lewandowski, 32, told Canal+, via the Mail: “I remain open-minded. I feel very good at Bayern, the city is superb, it’s a great club.

“I am always curious to learn a new language, a new culture. But whether it will be in football or after my career, even I don’t know.”

As well as firing Bayern to a ninth successive title, Lewandowski made history by scoring 41 league goals in a Bundesliga season to break the record set by the legendary Gerd Muller in 1971-72.

“I am not obsessed with records. When I take on new challenges, I try to do what no one has ever done. Because it pushes me to move forward,” he added.

“For me if you do something you love, you can achieve goals you thought were impossible.

“To be honest, I thought no player could come close to that record. Especially since I didn’t play for several matches, I was injured for part of the season. And in reality, I don’t realize the magnitude of it.

“I don’t really feel it and maybe that’s a good thing.”
