Romelu Lukaku makes Chelsea U-turn, speaks to Thomas Tuchel

There are reports Romelu Lukaku has had a change of heart over his future at Inter Milan after contacts with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel

According to Belgian outlet HLN, this new development is as result of help from the west London club’s owner Roman Abramovich.

The 28-year-old’s agent Federico Pastorello “does not expect” his client to turn down a potential move to Chelsea, the report claims.

Obviously, Chelsea will have to reach an agreement with Inter first, but recent reports suggest that the London club is prepared to make an improved offer for the striker.

HLN further highlighted that Lukaku loves Milan and is not “explicitly” pushing for a return to Chelsea. But Chelsea’s “blitzkrieg”, as the media described it, has changed his mind.

Firstly, the report added, Tuchel has promised him “heaven”. This suggests that the Chelsea manager has already been in contact with Lukaku and likely had conversations about his plans.

Secondly, Blues owner is reportedly ready to make Lukaku the most expensive signing in the Premier League history. What matters to Lukaku, however, is that a return to Chelsea would see him earn almost double his wage.

Finally, the report mentioned that for Lukaku, Chelsea have always been the club for Lukaku, despite his spell at Manchester United.

Thiago Silva hints at Romelu Lukaku’s impending return to Stamford Bridge

Chelsea defender Thiago SIlva has been caught doing something which has suggested that striker target Romelu Lukaku is on his way back to Stamford Bridge this summer.

In his wife Belle Silva’s Instagram story, the Brazilian was spotted by eagle-eyed fans whizzing through his feed on the social media site.

And popping up appeared to be an edited picture of Lukaku in the newest Chelsea home kit, which has since gone viral.

The Brazilian’s latest antics will provide Blues fans hope that a deal for their ex-striker is moving ever closer to becoming a reality, coupled with the fact that Inter need to make one more big sale to help ease their financial worries.

Chelsea receive transfer boost as Inter Milan identify Romelu Lukaku’s replacement

Reports in Italy claim Inter Milan have identified another striker Duvan Zapata in case Romelu Lukaku joins Chelsea, while Tammy Abraham could replace the Colombian forward at Atalanta.

Chelsea have pounced on Inter striker Lukaku offering €100m plus Marcos Alonso.

According to multiple reports, Inter rejected the offer but would consider selling the Belgian star for an offer exceeding €120m.

Sky Sport Italia claims the player has not snubbed a move to Chelsea yet, while the Serie A champions expect an improved bid from Stamford Bridge, where the Blues are on the lookout for a new centre forward.

Inter would sign two strikers if they sell Lukaku and Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata is on top of their summer shopping list along with Lazio forward Joaquin Correa.

The Nerazzurri have not begun talks with La Dea or Lazio but are considering their options if Chelsea put more than €120m on the table to sign Lukaku.

The report adds that Atalanta could replace Zapata with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, but it all depends on Lukaku’s future.

Maurizio Sarri wants Lazio reunion with Chelsea forward

Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could be set to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi a route out of Chelsea this summer.

The Italian endured a rollercoaster relationship with the young Chelsea winger during his solitary season at Stamford Bridge.

He finally made his breakthrough with the club, making a then career-high 24 appearances in all competitions throughout the campaign, netting five goals and notching a further five assists.

However, Sarri was often criticised for not rewarding Hudson-Odoi with the starts that his displays necessarily warranted, earning criticism from Chelsea supporters.

Now, it is being reported that the two could potentially be reunited at Lazio.

According to Il Messaggaro, as cited by london.football, the Chelsea youngster is on the Serie A club’s shortlist of wingers and could make a loan move should they fail to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic.

Abramovich “firmly believes” he can re-sign Lukaku as Inter striker is already “thinking about” moving back to Chelsea

There are reports that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is confident that he can bring Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge.

Abramovich is said to be a huge fan of Lukaku, with Eurosport reporting earlier this summer that the Russian billionaire was “personally driving the push to bring” the striker back to the club.

Despite reports of Inter wanting over £100m for the 28-year-old striker, Abramovich “firmly believes” he can bring the Belgian back to west London, according to FCInterNews.

“The feeling is that Roman Abramovich firmly believes he can bring the striker back to London and is ready to make a very rich official offer,” the report adds.

According to Sempre Inter, the Belgian is set to decide on his future in respect of where he believes he can win more trophies – that either being with the Serie A champions or the reigning European champions.

After seeing their bid turned down for the Belgian, the Blues are set to return with an improved offer of €120million.

Lukaku is also “thinking about” moving back to Stamford Bridge as per Gianluca Di Marzio.
