Tammy Abraham makes Arsenal U-turn, to fly to Italy today for medical ahead of permanent move to Roma

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has changed his mind about his desire to move to Arsenal as a result of pressure from Roma.

The Giallorossi had already reached an agreement with Chelsea over the English striker, but Abraham was not convinced about a move to Italy.

He was reportedly pushing for a deal with Arsenal, but La Lupa have, according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, convinced the player of moving to Serie A.

The Giallorossi have scheduled the medical visit at 13.00 UK time today and the Chelsea striker should arrive in the city this morning.

The report claims Roma have reached an agreement at €40m with Chelsea and Abraham will receive €5m plus bonuses per season.

The English centre-forward greeted the fans at the end of Saturday’s match against Crystal Palace in the Premier League, when he stayed on the bench for the full 90 minutes of a 3-0 win over the Eagles.
