Former Chelsea star eyeing Premier League return

Tammy Abraham is reportedly eyeing a Premier League return despite being a revelation in Serie A this season.

Abraham left Chelsea for Roma in a £30m deal in the summer, with the Blues cleverly including a buyback clause into the deal.

That is claimed to be around £68million, double his transfer fee, which becomes active in 2023.

And Corriere dello Sport claim Abraham wants to ‘go home one day’ in a bid to conquer the Premier League.

Former Chelsea manager accused of multiple accounts of sexual harassment

Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant has been accused of multiple accounts of sexual harassment in an Israeli TV documentary.

The 66-year-old, who led Chelsea to the 2008 Champions League final before being sacked, responded to the Exposure TV show on Israel’s Channel 12 by apologising to anyone he had caused to feel uncomfortable.

Although he did not initially address the central allegations in his response, he has since denied being physically aggressive towards women to Sportsmail.

The accusations relate to numerous incidents involving several female journalists, the most recent of which took place 18 months ago when the alleged victim was just 22.

One woman claimed she was invited to Grant’s apartment in Tel Aviv in June 2020 with an offer to help her find work, before he allegedly asked her to take off her clothes and refused to let her leave.

Several women alleged that Grant offered to assist them in their careers when starting out, before making inappropriate comments and sending harassing messages over a number of years.

“I have always sought to prioritise staying a human being and respect every woman or man, whoever they may be,’ he said.

“I am a people person, a man of friendships. And over the years I have maintained relationships with women. In all these I have tried very hard to treat them with respect and friendship and I never intended to behave unfairly or in any way harm any woman.

“Anyone who has felt uncomfortable or hurt by me, I regret it and apologise from the bottom of my heart.”

Grant also provided an additional statement to Sportsmail on Monday, saying: “I have never and would never force myself on and be physically aggressive towards a woman. Or to anyone. Any sexual relationship I have had has been consensual.”

Arsenal join Chelsea, others in race to sign Juventus star

Arsenal have joined the race to sign Juventus star Paulo Dybala, according to reports.

The Gunners are the latest club to show interest in the Argentine – who is out of contract in the summer.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also thought to be among the Premier League clubs keen to sign the 28-year-old.

But, according to The Mirror, they will have to fight off Arsenal as Mikel Arteta looks to land the attacking midfielder.

Dybala and Juventus had initially agreed on a five-year deal worth £6.7million per year before Christmas.

However, talks collapsed after the Vecchia Signora changed those terms at the eleventh hour.

(Watch missed penalty) Manchester United fans blast Cristiano Ronaldo after defeat to Middlesbrough

Fans laid into Ronaldo on Twitter after his shocking penalty miss against Middlesbrough.

After Paul Pogba was felled inside the area during the FA Cup clash against Middlesbrough Ronaldo stepped up from the spot, only to MISS the target completely.

Goalkeeper Joe Lumley wasn’t even forced into making a save as CR7 dragged his effort wide of the mark as he attempted to open the scoring at Old Trafford.

The celebrations from the 9,000 travelling Boro fans didn’t last long though, with Jadon Sancho opened the scoring less than five minutes later.

On fan wrote: “Nobody should miss the target from 12 yards. Should dock wages if a professional does it.”

While another ripped into Ron saying: “Can’t do the only thing making him relevant. Let’s all laugh at Ronaldo.”

And a third chimed in with: “Penaldo is truly finished.”
