Karim Benzema is feeling “threatened” by reports that Real Madrid hope to sign both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland and wants to meet with president Florentino Perez to discuss the club’s summer plans, according to the French magazine Onze.

There are reports Mbappe is Madrid’s “absolute priority” for the next window, when his Paris Saint-Germain contract is due to expire. Madrid are also keen on Borussia Dortmund’s Haaland and have the funds to get both deals done — and that, Onze reports, has left Benzema wondering where he fits in.

The France forward, 34, has been in the form of his life this season, with 17 goals already in LaLiga.

Onze claims that Benzema is unconcerned with the Mbappe links as the pair have linked up well at international level, but is troubled by the possible signing of Haaland.

The magazine reports that Benzema wants to meet club president Perez next month to talk about a new contract himself, with his deal up in 2023.

Barcelona want to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, but there’s a major problem, according to Sport.

Kounde, 23, has been linked with a move away from the club for some time and Chelsea almost landed him six months ago. However, Barca would love to bring him to Camp Nou, except for the fact he would cost at least €80m to sign.

Barca have no money amid their €1.4 billion debt and are trying to save any cash they do manage to scrape together to bring in a striker, namely Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

Manager Xavi believes Kounde would help fix his defence but the club may turn to Chelsea duo Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta, who are both available on a free transfer in the summer, instead.

Liverpool star Sadio Mané is said to be on the lookout for move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid, planning for the future with his contract set to expire in 2023.

Along with Salah , Mané is one of the Liverpool’s prize assets, but after winning the African Cup of Nations with Senegal, it seems he is interested in leaving Anfield after almost six years.

According to Goal via Mundo Deportivo , Mané has his eyes on a move to La Liga with either Barcelona or Real Madrid.

The Senegalese is said to want a new challenge and the chance to win a different trophy.

The problem is that Barcelona are pretty well stacked out wide after spending big to sign Ferran Torres during this window.
