Ajax have ruled out moves to resign Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech return due to the Moroccan’s price tag.

The winger has struggled to hit his best form during his time at Stamford Bridge, having impressed while in the Netherlands.

With January offering another chance to make the switch, the Dutch side have responded to the possibility of a move for the forward.

Ajax head coach Alfred Schreuder told reporters: “I don’t think so,” when asked if Ziyech could join the club again. “We have enough options up front. Ziyech has a price tag as well, it’s not a priority.”

There’s plenty of time remaining in the transfer window and it remains to be seen what the future holds for Ziyech at Stamford Bridge. At this stage, a return to Ajax seems unlikely. AC Milan and Spurs were linked with the winger in the summer.
