Antonio Conte arrives in London for Tottenham job

Antonio Conte has arrived in London, where he will sign a contract with Tottenham until June 2023.

The Italian tactician has agreed to take over in North London after Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking.

He had rejected a move to Spurs in the summer, but he has now been convinced by their transfer strategy for the January window.

Spurs are planning to invest big when the market re-opens at the beginning of the new year, so Conte is keen to move to North London.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Conte has just landed in London to meet the club’s directors.

There are no doubts about the fact that Conte will become the new Tottenham boss, although he still needs to fix a few details with the Premier League giants.

Conte left Inter in the summer after winning the title with the Nerazzurri, the first one in 11 years for the club.

He had been linked with the Manchester United job, but the Red Devils decided against sacking Ole Gunnar Solskaer, paving the way for Conte’s agreement with Spurs.
