Arturo Vidal makes Barcelona promise as club fight for trophies

Barcerlona midfielder Arturo Vidal has promised to give everything for the Catalan club as they fight for titles.

The Chilean midfielder started in the 2-1 win over Real Sociedad this weekend, and Ernesto Valverde will have a selection headache ahead of the Champions League semi final at the end of April.

The former Bayern Munich has normally been used as an impact substitute this season, but he is firm in his commitment to Barcelona – from the bench of from the start. His performances in recent weeks have seen him force his way into the starting line up.

“I try to leave everything out there on the field.

“I will take every chance I get before the end of the season to help the team to win trophies.

Barcelona are now six points away from defending their title, but Vidal acknowledged there is still work to be done in the upcoming games against Alaves and Levante.

“We are six points away, but it will still be difficult.

“We you are this close, things can get complicated. We just need to focus on picking up points.”
