Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Matheus Nunes on loan.

The midfielder has struggled for minutes since joining Manchester City from Wolves last summer, and a parting of ways is firmly on the cards over the next few days.

According to The Athletic, Atletico are ‘exploring’ the possibility of signing Nunes, despite recently acquiring the services of Conor Gallagher from Chelsea.

City are yet to receive any concrete approaches for the Portugal international at this stage.
