Barcelona confirm Coutinho’s move as Brazilian snubs Paris Saint-Germain

Reports in Spain state that Barcelona have confirmed “there is a basic agreement” for Philippe Coutinho to join Bayern Munich on loan after he reportedly rejected PSG as part of a Neymar bid.

Director Guillermo Amor spoke to Movistar+ before tonight’s Liga game against Athletic Club and was asked why Coutinho was not even on the bench.

“There is a basic agreement with Bayern,” confirmed Amor as cited by Football Espana.

“Due to the circumstances, it may well come out, so we are going to acknowledge that.”

It’s reported to be a dry one-season loan, so without option to buy.

According to several reports in Spain, Italy and Germany, Coutinho had been proposed to Paris Saint-Germain as part of the deal for Neymar.

“The Coutinho news is true and it has come out, but with Neymar it’s better not to say too much. He is a PSG player and we have a game this evening, so should focus on winning that,” added Amor.
