Bayern Munich fire two club chiefs minutes after winning Bundesliga title, Thomas Tuchel reacts

Bayern Munich are Bundesliga champions for the 11th season in a row after Borussia Dortmund fluffed their lines on a dramatic final day in Germany.
Bayern Munich have ruthlessly sacked CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic just minutes after Thomas Tuchel’s side claimed the club’s 11th successive Bundesliga title.
Salihamidzic was even in the stands at the RheinEnergieStadion as Bayern weathered a late scare to beat FC Koln 2-1 and Borussia Dortmund choked the chance to end their rivals’ extended period of dominance.
Yet there was an added twist for Bayern amid their jubilant title celebrations as the German media revealed that both Kahn and Salihamidzic had been sacked at full-time.
The Bosnian was watching on through his fingers in the stand above during the thriller and was even on the pitch celebrating passionately after Bayern had been crowned champions.
Jan Christian Dreesen is set to become Bayern’s new CEO, replacing Kahn.
Bayern fans have been frustrated by the work of Salihamidzic in recent times, particularly in the transfer market.
Both CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic will leave the club in the summer, as confirmed by boss Thomas Tuchel.
He told Sky Germany after winning the title: “I was informed yesterday. They have convinced me to join Bayern. We have won the title. Now we have the next political topic.”
A club statement soon confirmed the news, with Jan-Christian Dreesen replacing Kahn.
