Reports in England claim that highly-rated Chelsea youngster Henry Lawrence is set to sign a new three-year deal at the club.

The 19-year-old has been a regular in first team training sessions in the past few months and is on the verge of a senior debut.

Lawrence has already featured in some of Frank Lampard’s Champions League squads and was an unused substitute in the Blues’ last-16 clash with Bayern Munich last season.

The versatile youngster started his career in midfield but his performances at right-back are said to have earned him a professional contract.
