Cristiano Ronaldo’s former teammate reveals Portuguese secret

Former Manchester United star Diego Forlan has revealed Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s habit spending “all day looking in the mirror”.

The Uruguayan, who was known for his goal-poaching record, made this known while outlining the differences between the Portugal star and another former United and Madrid star, David Beckham.

The Portuguese was by the Old Trafford club from Sporting Lisbon back in the summer of 2003, with the winger coming in to replace Beckham.

Beckham had chosen to leave Old Trafford for Real Madrid that summer following a breakdown in his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson.

“Cristiano was an egocentric in the dressing room, nothing like Beckham,” Forlan explained in the Daily Mirror

“Cristiano always wanted to be beside the mirror. He spent a day looking at one.

“Ronaldo would be changing in front of the mirror and looking tremendous while Beckham was more natural, they are different. Cristiano puts in a lot more effort.”
