Eden Hazard reacts to West Ham fans’ “he’s off to Real Madrid” chants at during Chelsea win at Stamford Bridge

Eden Hazard insists the West Ham fans are wrong after they sang “he’s off to Real Madrid” during Chelsea’s 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgium international netted a brace in the Blues’ victory, moving them back into third in the Premier League table with just five games left to play.

Hazard’s virtuoso performance against the Hammers highlighted his importance to the Stamford Bridge club, but he has been linked with a move away in recent months.

Real Madrid are very keen on signing the Belgian, who has previously admitted his ambition to one day play under Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane.

The Mirror reports that West Ham fans could be heard singing: “He’s off to Real Madrid” throughout Monday night’s clash in south-west London.

But Hazard played down a potential summer move after the contest.

He told Sky Sports: “Nah. They are wrong. Now I am just focused with Chelsea till the end of the season.

“I just want to finish in the top four, [win the] Europa League.

“We still have a lot to do, then we will see.”
