Football legend Maradona dies aged 60

One of the world’s football greats Diego Armando Maradona has died of heart attack.

According to his lawyer, the football legend died at home just three weeks after having surgery on a blot clot in his brain.

The Argentine football hero, who was actively involved in the game of at different occasions as a football and manager, had several battles with drug and alcohol addiction.

Clarín, the country’s biggest newspaper, broke the news first and his agent Matias Morla would later confirm the news according to multiple reports.

Maradona won the 1986 World Cup in Mexico in 1986, with several football club laurels, featuring for European giants like Barcelona and Napoli.
