Half-Time Report: Manchester City 1-0 Borussia Dortmund…. Kevin De Bruyne hands City the lead

Manchester City take a slender lead into the break, De Bruyne grabbing the invitation to fire them ahead at close range following that slick 19th-minute counterattack.

City in front at half time but there’s been plenty of controversy. The Guardiola side were given a penalty after a foul from Emre Can but the referee was instructed to go and review the decision on the monitor and he overturned the call.

Bellingham then had the ball in the net but the referee had already blown for a foul on Ederson, however, replays appeared to show the Dortmund man won the ball cleanly.

Dortmund, though, have shown plenty of threat, with Bellingham testing Ederson in the opening minutes and causing the home defence concerns on several occasions since. His side will be confident that they can hit back in the second half.
