Half-Time Report: Real Madrid 2-0 Liverpool…Vinicius, Asensio give Los Blancos lead

There’s the end of the half, and what a half it has been for Real Madrid, who have dominated proceedings and lead by two goals to nil.
Arguably Madrid’s best 45 of the season just when they needed it the most, without their captain and his centre-back partner.
The first goal came after a fantastic pass from Kroos to Vinícius Júnior, before another Kroos pass led to the second for Asensio, albeit with the assist coming from Alexander-Arnold.
Liverpool have not had a shot on goal, let alone one on target, and have work to do after the interval.
