HT: Manchester City 1-0 Brighton… Gabriel Jesus’ header counts (Report)

Manchester City raced into the lead in the first half of the FA Cup semi-final match against Brighton.

The only goal was scored via Gabriel Jesus’ header in the 4th minute of the match.

Kevin De Bruyne found space on the right wing before firing a terrific driven cross to the far post with Jesus on hand for to divert a diving header into the bottom left corner from close range.

It looked like City would go on to score many more as they continued to dominate, but Brighton have grown into the game and have defended well, but not threatened much in front of goal themselves.

City could count themselves lucky not to be down to 10 men, after Walker appeared to headbutt Jahanbakhsh, but both players were just shown yellow cards.

A lot of possession for City, but only one shot on target which was the goal.

Meanwhile Brighton have had a couple of decent chances, but not yet forced Ederson into making a save. Brighton still have a chance in the game, but City have been very dominant so far.
