John Terry buys £4.35million mansion close to former Chelsea teammate who fell out with him

Reports in Englain claim that former Chelsea captain John Terry has bought a £4.35million mansion close to the home of a former team-mate he was alleged to have had sexual romp with.

Terry and Bridge were Chelsea and England teammates and friends before the married Blues captain bedded Vanessa Perroncel in 2010.

Perroncel and Bridge, who have a son together, had only been split up for weeks before the romp, which was initially made secret due to a super-injunction, happened.

It therefore makes the fact that Terry has splashed out £4.35million on a mansion which is within eye-shot of the property Bridge owns with his wife Frankie, who used to be a member pop group of the Saturdays.

Terry is currently Premier League outfit Aston Villa’s assistant manager but has become a successful property developer alongside his wife Toni.

His new 18th century posh pad in Surrey boasts seven bedrooms and eight acres of woodland.

It includes a library, study, swimming pool, tennis court and stables, while still keeping its period features of a metal spiral staircase and a large ornate fireplace.

Bridge’s mansion, which he purchased two years ago, is said to be similar, report the Mirror.

A source told the Sun: “It’s going to be pretty hard for them not to bump into each other. They are literally just a few minutes walk apart. It could make an awkward meeting.”

Bridge has previously spoken about the affect that the altercation with Terry had on him – who he infamously refused to shake his hand when Manchester City played Chelsea soon after.

Bridge told The Sun in 2017: “The most disappointing aspect of it all is that I’m probably more famous for not shaking someone’s hand than I am for playing football.

“I get abuse walking down the street now and I let it go in one ear and out the other. It’s a handshake after all, nothing more.

“It’s so hard for me to talk about the scenario because there would be other stuff to divulge.”
