Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek at Roma, according to reports.

The Serie A club have already spent close to £90million, including the purchase of Tammy Abraham for £34m from Chelsea. But according to the Daily Mail, Mourinho isn’t done raiding his former club.

Mourinho wants to bring in another midfielder and Lotus-Cheek – who he worked briefly with during his second managerial spell at the Blues – is on his transfer list.

And the Rome-based club have already contacted Chelsea in the hope of ironing out a deal in the next few days.

Roma are exploring the possibility of taking the 25-year-old on an initial loan with an option to buy.

And should Loftus-Cheek impress, Roma want an option to permanently buy him for £13.5m.
