Liverpool have reached an agreement in principle with Brighton to sign Alexis Mac Allister, reports claim.

Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb says a fee of up to £57.6m has been agreed between the two Premier League clubs.

Mac Allister is one of a host of midfielders Liverpool have been linked with ahead of the summer window.

Talks are said to have been held late on Friday night as the Reds attempt to convince the player to join them.
