Liverpool react to Arsenal move for Darwin Nunez

Liverpool have previously insisted Darwin Nunez isn’t available for transfer, be that a permanent or loan move, this summer.

It was reported by the Liverpool Echo last month Liverpool were unwilling to entertain a deal of any kind for their club-record signing.

But whether that position has changed remains unknown.

Talk of a surprise move to Arsenal in the final days of the window has emerged, but any interest hasn’t been made concrete by the north Londoners yet.

Nunez joined Liverpool in 2022 but has failed to impress ever since his move from Benfica.

His frustrations have been multiplied so far this season, with the striker starting both of Liverpool’s Premier League matches on the bench.

Meanwhile, according to a report from Fichajes, Arsenal are looking to reinforce their attack before the end of the transfer window and they are interested in the services of Liverpool star Darwin Nunez who could cost between €110-120 million.

The Uruguayan, 25, had been a target for the Gunners before he moved to Liverpool in 2022 and reports claim they could be taking another look now.
