Manchester United have no plans to let Jadon Sancho leave Old Trafford on loan, according to BBC Sport.
Sancho’s underwhelming spell at Old Trafford could come to an end before the summer transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday night.
Much was expected of the winger when he completed a £73m move from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 but Sancho has underwhelmed for the Premier League giants.
After four impressive seasons at Dortmund – in which he established himself as one of the brightest talents in the Bundesliga and a regular England international – Sancho was tipped to thrive at Old Trafford and help the Manchester club win trophies.
It is said they would rather cut ties with the England international on a permanent basis.
That could mean either a sale or a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause inserted.
Chelsea have been linked with a potential move for Sancho in the final days of the window.
Juventus only want the Chelsea target on loan, according to Sky Sports.
Their reporter Dharmesh Sheth revealed what he knows about the situation on X.
He wrote: “Juventus have made clear to Manchester United they want loan for Jadon Sancho. Juve know of Chelsea interest.
“Now waiting for United & Sancho to make decision. United’s preference is permanent. Sancho has 3 years (2+1) left on deal so loan not ruled out.”
