Manchester United have agreed a deal to sell Scott McTominay to Napoli, according to The Athletic.

He is set to join the Italian giants for a transfer fee of around £25m with a sell-on clause included in the deal.

The move now looks set to go ahead, subject to all parties being satisfied on player terms.

Fabrizio Romano adds that McTominay has already accepted Napoli’s proposal.

The transfer expert wrote on X: “Details to be discussed about his payoff, similar to Wan-Bissaka.

“This is the main part to fix + personal terms. Club to club agreement done with Man United for €30m fee (add-ons included) plus sell-on clause.”
