Manchester United are set to move for OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo if Harry Maguire leaves Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils have asked to be kept informed on the Frenchman’s situation, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

However, they will only take concrete action if Maguire departs.

The England international was recently stripped of the captaincy by Erik ten Hag, and he was booed by supporters at the weekend after committing a costly error in pre-season.

West Ham submitted a £30million offer for Maguire on Monday night, with United yet to officially respond.
