There are reports Maurizio Sarri is eyeing a reunion with N’Golo Kante as the Italian boss wants to bring the midfielder to Juventus.

A combination of Kante, Miralem Pjanic and Aaron Ramsey make up Sarri’s ideal midfield, and the club believes Kante could be had for a fee of £70 million.

The Italian has never been the most demanding manager in the transfer market and prefers to focus on working with his squad on the training pitch.

He does not busy himself with minutiae of negotiations with agents and clubs but has made no secret of his desire to bring Kante to Turin.

Juventus believe a transfer fee would be in the region £70million which is an accessible figure.

Sarri wants his midfield to be the most dynamic in Serie A and views Kante as perpetual motion.

He left Chelsea deeply impressed by the World Cup winner’s relentless motion and quality in midfield.

This season, Pjanic has become the beacon of Sarri’s aggressive midfield it Kante would offer even greater power and energy.

Frank Lampard’s youthful revolution at Stamford Bridge could mean that a generational change is taking place and the 28-year-old Kante might look for his next chapter elsewhere.

He might also be drawn by the allure of playing with compatriots Blaise Matuidi, Adrien Rabiot and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
