Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos speaks out on Eden Hazard impending arrival at Bernabeu

Sergio Ramos has expressed the optimism that Eden Hazard would give Real Madrid a lot as the Santiago Bernabeu club are determined to sign the Chelsea star this summer.

The Belgium international has openly expressed his desire to join the Spanish club, saying his goodbye after scoring twice for Chelsea to win the Europa League trophy on Wednesday in Baku, Aizerbaijan.

Even Real Madrid President Florentino Perez on Monday was quoted as saying that the Los Blancos are interested in the Stamford Bridge club’s talisman

Hazard is entering the final year of his Chelsea contract and Ramos is very hopeful of linking up with the winger.

Ramos was himself linked with a move away from the Bernabeu after a reported breakdown in his relationship with president Perez.

But he has since reassured fans he will be staying, before calling on the club to sign Hazard, who has just won the Europa League.

‘Eden Hazard is a top player who would give us a lot. I hope he comes, he could give us a lot,” the Real Madrid captain said at a press conference, as cited by the Daily Mail.

‘I am staying at Real Madrid. I’m going on holiday now and will see who we have signed and who we have not.

‘I’m not looking to renew (my contract), I am happy with what I have and I hope these comments mean the “Ramos stuff” is now finished.’
