Real Madrid fans reveal their decision on moves to sign Neymar as PSG say they are “in advanced negotiations” for star’s exit

Some Real Madrid fans have opposed reported moves by their club to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar as a result of reports that the French club have offered the Brazilian to Los Blancos president Florentino Peréz.

The Brazil international is desperate to leave the Ligue 1 champions while Real Madrid are eager to sign another Galactico-level star before the close of the transfer window.

PSG have, however, confirmed through their director Leonardo that they are “in advanced negotiations” for Neymar’s departure

And while Real Madrid fans would love to see another marquee signing before the summer is out, particularly after the disappointment of not having signed Pogba, the majority of them would rather it not be Neymar.

According to a poll conducted by AS (gathered almost 160,911 votes), 60 percent of Madridistas surveyed said they don’t want the club to sign the 27-year-old.

Those that are opposed to the move gave reasons such as the Brazilian’s price tag, along with his recent off-the-field antics and his proneness to injury.

Meanwhile, Neymar’s number one preference is Barcelona, although he would certainly also look favourably on a move to the Bernabéu should a return to Camp Nou be deemed unviable.

It is obviously becoming impossible for him to return to his preferred destination (Camp Nou) as Barcelona cannot muster enough financial capacity to meet the cash-only condition of PSG for the striker.
