Revealed: West Ham’s grouse against Arsenal’s £105m bid for Declan Rice

Reports in England claim that West Ham have not immediately accepted Arsenal’s £105m bid for Declan Rice.
Arsenal will have to negotiate the structure of their new record-breaking offer for Rice.
It’s thought West Ham United want the guaranteed fee paid up in a shorter time frame.
According to Sky Sports, the deal breaks down as a £100m initial fee, plus £5m in performance-related add-ons.
But the Daily Mail claim the Hammers want the guaranteed portion of the fee paid by the start of 2025, preferably in two instalments, with Arsenal wanting to pay the fee over a five-year period.
The Guardian goes further, describing West Ham as ‘unhappy’ with the payment structure proposed.
And then there’s the Man City factor and the anticipation of a bidding war erupting between Arsenal and the Premier League champions.
“West Ham have been holding out for £100m and are expecting City, who have had a £90m bid rejected, to come in with a new offer on Wednesday,” continues The Guardian. “One source suggested Arsenal may need to raise their offer to £110m to see off City.”
It is understood Arsenal will continue negotiations with the Irons today over the structure of the deal for Rice.
