Reports have emerged in England suggesting that Tottenham chairman David Levy might be interested in selling Harry Kane to Chelsea as the Blues chief Marina Granovskaia is said to be considering an offer for Spurs striker.

Spurs are naturally loathe to lose the England captain, who has made it clear that he would like to leave the club this summer in search of a club that can regularly challenge for top trophies.

Levy might be more interested in dealing with Chelsea over Harry Kane, with Tammy Abraham potentially being included in negotiations.

That’s according to The Athletic, who run through the options on the table for Levy over Kane, whose future with Tottenham is in doubt.

Manchester City and Manchester United have been strongly linked with the 27-year-old, but Spurs’ asking price is likely to be prohibitively high.

While Manchester City have the resources to splash out on Kane, and could offer some attractive options in exchange, The Athletic note that there is a belief among some that Levy would be more open to selling to Chelsea.

Chelsea may have found a way around that, though, by offering Abraham in a player-plus-cash deal. That would mean Spurs would not have such a significant burden in finding a replacement for Kane, with Chelsea valuing Abraham at around £40million.
