Romelu Lukaku’s agent reacts to Chelsea interest in Inter Milan striker

Romelu Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello has played down speculation suggesting his client could make a sensational return to Chelsea.

The Belgian striker spent three years at Stamford Bridge between 2011-14, but struggled to make an impression and was eventually sold to Everton.

He has since become one of the world’s best forwards, however, and scored a superb 24 goals in 36 appearances in Serie A this season to help fire Inter to the title.

There have been some reports claiming that Chelsea could make a move to re-sign the 28-year-old in the coming weeks.

But speaking to reporters after a meeting with Inter, Pastorello simply said: “Romelu is happy at Inter. He has a contract so there are no problems.”
