Rodri has singled out Chelsea star Cole Palmer as a player he believes will shine for England for many years to come.

Manchester City’s number 16 will be feeling on top of the world after Spain emerged triumphant at Euro 2024 by beating England 2-1 in the final — with international success perhaps being every football’s ultimate goal.

Rodri, who has trained and played with Palmer for years at Manchester City has a clear idea of how incredible of a talent he is and how far he can go.

The Spaniard has huge belief in Palmer

“I know these guys, Cole Palmer is a top player,” said Rodri told ITV after being named Player of the Tournament.

“He’s going to be a huge star in the next years. Imagine what we have next.

“We are so happy. We made history but it doesn’t stop here. We have talent and we’ll keep going. It’s important to celebrate what we have done.”

The midfield maestro’s kind words will likely encourage the 22-year-old, who will also be inspired by his former teammate’s incredible displays at Euro 2024.
