Brighton have rejected an offer worth £8million for Billy Gilmour from Napoli, reports talkSPORT.

The Scotland international featured regularly for the Seagulls last season, and his performances caught the attention of the Serie A outfit.

Brighton are willing to part ways with Gilmour if an offer in the region of £12m arrives, though it remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte’s side are willing to cough up such a fee.

According to The Telegraph, Napoli are interested in a move for ex-Chelsea midfielder Gilmour.

talkSPORT, meanwhile, suggest that Napoli have already tested the water with an £8m, an offer that was rejected by Brighton.
