Tammy Abraham reveals what Frank Lampard told them at half-time for Chelsea to defeat Crystal Palace

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has revealed what boss Frank Lampard said at half-time of last Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace.

Abraham and Pulisic scored the two goals that handed all the three points to Chelsea in the second half of the Premier League encounter.

The Eagles had frustrated the Blues up to that point, with the score level at 0-0.

Abraham told the Chelsea website: “It wasn’t our best game, but the most important was that we got the three points.

“It was hard work. Crystal Palace are a good side, they defend well as a team and in the first half, they frustrated our style of play.

“At half-time the manager said we needed to stay focused, and the chances would come. We came out, we believed, we didn’t change our style of play, we wanted to show our attacking football, and we got our two goals.”
