(Video) Mourinho breaks silence after dismissal from Tottenham, moves to his London home after leaving Spurs training ground at 3.30 pm

Jose Mourinho has confirmed his intention not to take a break from football despite losing his job as Tottenham manager.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss was called to a meeting with chairman Daniel Levy on Monday morning.

The club then confirmed Mourinho and his coaching staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra had all been “relieved of their duties”, with Ryan Mason – just 29 – taking charge of training on Monday afternoon.

Mourinho was asked by Sky Sports News to respond to his departure as he arrived back at his house in London, but said: “I’m not going to speak. You know me, you know that I’m not going to say anything.”

When asked if he would be taking a break, Mourinho said: “No need. I am always in football.”

It looked as though dismay was etched across the face of the crestfallen Special One as he left.

He was seen leaving the Spurs training complex just after 3.30pm on Monday morning and arrived back in his west London home later on Monday afternoon.

Mourinho was seen taking his belongings from his Spurs office back into his home with goalkeeper coach Nuno Santos helping him. The items included several large images of the Portuguese coach’s career highlights.

Spurs have won the fourth highest number of Premier League points since Mourinho took charge and would be fourth in the table if all 58 games are taken into account.
