Chelsea have shot to the lead through Hakim Ziyech with a sublime goal in the 47 minutes of the Premier League encounter at Stamford Bridge.
It was a moment of brilliance from the Moroccan as he placed a beautiful curling shot into the top corner, leaving Lloris motionless.
There was chatter at half-time suggesting that this has been Hakim Ziyech’s best performance for the club, and he’s just strengthened those arguments with a sensational strike.
Callum Hudson-Odoi does brilliantly in the build-up by beating his man and laying the ball into Ziyech’s path 25 yards from goal.
From that point, it was all the Moroccan’s own work. Ziyech looked up and unleashed an exquisite left-footed curler into the top left corner that left Hugo Lloris rooted to his spot.
What a start to the second half for Chelsea, and what a goal to put them in front.
