(Watch Video) Callum Hudson-Odoi scores for England U21s

Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi offered further proof that he is fully behind his injury problems by scoring a fine opening goal for England U21s against Austria in Milton Keynes.

The 19-year-old has only just returned to action following almost six months on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles tendon while playing for Chelsea against Burnley.

Hudson-Odoi has featured four times for Frank Lampard’s side since the end of September and his impressive form culminated in a call-up to Aidy Boothroyd’s U21 squad.

And the young winger showed just why he is so highly-regarded by both club and country by scoring an emphatic finish to put England in front against Austria in their Euro 2021 qualifier, report the Metro.

Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly started the move with a raking cross-field pass out to Norwich City’s full-back Max Aarons who turned a low ball into the penalty area.

Although Aarons’ cross came quickly and at an awkward height to Hudson-Odoi, the Chelsea winger controlled his finish expertly, sending the ball high into the roof of the net.

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah who is on loan at Leeds United this season, scored twice to put England 3-0 up before Hudson-Odoi added a sensational fourth in first-half stoppage time.
