Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has cast doubt on his move to Juventus despite moves by the Old Lady’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli to sort out his switch back to the club.

An Inter fan implored Lukaku not to say ‘forza Juve’ should he make the move to Turin, but the Chelsea striker suggested that a deal is unlikely to happen.

The striker agreed personal terms with Juventus over one month ago, but an agreement is still missing between the two clubs.

Lukaku had initially been expected to rejoin Inter Milan after spending last season on loan at the San Siro.

Inter backed out of a potential deal after becoming aware that Lukaku had entered talks with rivals Juventus.

The move, seen as a betrayal in Nerazzurri circles, saw Inter focus on other targets, leaving just Juventus and clubs in Saudi Arabia interested in picking up Lukaku.

TikTok user Maurochiffi1908 captured an interaction between Lukaku and an Inter fan in Belgium, who asked the striker not to say ‘forza Juve’ should he ultimately join Juventus this summer.

Laughing, the 30-year-old replied “no, never” before adding “I don’t think a deal will happen”, suggesting that a move to Turin isn’t on the horizon for the Belgian striker.
