Chelsea starlet reveals why he snubbed Manchester United, Liverpool, others for the Blues

Tino Anjorin has revealed why he snubbed Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Borussia Dortmund to stay at Chelsea.

The Blues starlet has just signed a new five-year Chelsea contract amid the coronavirus crisis.

Anjorin broke into the first team earlier this season and was wanted by Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.

He can play in midfield, as a striker or on either wing, and could fill the void left behind by Pedro and Willian.

He said: “It’s a brilliant feeling. I’ve been at the club since I was six so to get to this stage and then be offered a five-year contract is amazing.

“I had no hesitation but to take it straight away because to play for the club I always dreamed of playing for is really special to me.

“I’ve been at Chelsea for so long so it feels really special to get this new long contract.

“It gives me a few years to keep developing and try to push into the first team.

“I still have a lot of hard work to do to get there but hopefully I can do it and inspire the next group of youngsters coming through.”
